HELP SUPPORT THE DALLAS ZOO

Welcome Zooper Troopers!  You are about to embark on a service learning project with the Dallas Zoo and Youth Together.  We will bring you boards with pictures of animals from the Dallas Zoo.  You can sponsor an animal for $10.00 and you will receive a bio about your animal, a picture and a lot of fantastic zoo toys. Not only that, you will get to come to the Zoo and meet and greet your animal at a party just for you!  You will learn all about the animal you have chosen to sponsor and how to help animals in the wild! Teachers, we can help you expand your curriculum by utilizing wildlife and the environment as a living classroom. Giving your students the opportunity to make hands-on scientific discoveries will challenge them to achieve new levels of scientific understanding and ultimately inspire an appreciation and respect for nature. We are proud to be a part of such a worthwhile endeavor and invite you and your students to "Bring Learning to Life" with us!

HOW YOU ARE HELPING THE DALLAS ZOO

Show your passion for wildlife and adopt your favorite animal at the Dallas Zoo! Your support helps provide habitat, lifestyle and environmental enhancements for the animals in our care. Your gift also supports the addition of animals to our collection and our participation in Species Survival Plans (SSPs), critical to the survival of endangered and threatened species around the world.

   When you do Zooper Troopers, you are not only teaching your child about community service and the Dallas Zoo, but you are helping high school students in your area.  They will be making the gift bags and delivering the donations.  They will receive service hours as well as resume credit for college!  Thanks for helping your community!!!!

Getting Started

   Pick a week that you would like to do Zooper Troopers.  We will bring you the flyers to market the program and display boards of different animals at the Dallas Zoo that you can adopt.  You will have each sponsor fill out an order form and turn in their donation of $10.00.  Each child will receive a picture of your animal, a bio about that specific animal, and a bag full of fun zoo toys.  They will also receive an invitation to the Dallas Zoo to meet their animal at the Zoo. Your child will be helping the Dallas Zoo with their donation and learning about animals as well.
