Benefiting ill children and the Plano Presbyterian Hospital

Grin and Bear It helps patients at area hospitals. Has your child ever had to have an operation? Youth Together has made the waiting time fun!!! Now young patients will receive a Grin and Bear It Bag filled with fun things to do while the patient is waiting. They will receive a stuffed bear along with a sticker bear book about the hospital, a water game, a bear card game, Toddee Bear and friends cutouts along with other fun toys. In appreciation, for your student's donation of $5.00, they will receive a teddy bear to remind them of helping others in her community. Schools may chose to participate in Grin and Bear It in two ways. They may run the program individually  or have classes donate change towards helping a patient at area hospitals.

How Your Child Can Help

You will receive flyers to advertise Grin and Bear It.  You will also receive a display board to market the program.  You can either have individuals donate for individual bags or you can collect change and area high school students  will make the bags for the patients.

Your child will receive a bear to thank them for their contribution. We hope that this bear will help cement in their mind that they have done something good!
