Pick Your Project

How do we get started?  Just pick one of the ten projects we offer.  We will supply you with the flyers and display boards that your students will use to promote their program.  We offer several different types of projects including drives, service learning, sponsorship and mentoring programs.  Your students can pick the project that they want to do. Once they have decided who they would like to help, decide a week that you would like to run your program.  We will bring you the flyers and display boards to run the program.  After you finish collecting orders or supplies, we will come pick up your donations and take them to the organization.  We do like the students to get some reminder of their donation. In some programs, they will receive a gift bag, others you will receive thank you notes form the children they have helped, still others might receive a poster with pictures of the children that they helped.  We believe that getting something back will cement in these children's minds that doing something good for someone is rewarding.  We hope that later when they are adults, they will be involved in community service.

Kid's Pal's - benefits homeless children at the Samaritan Inn

Kid's Flicks and Games - benefits ill children at an area hospital

Zooper Troopers - benefits the Dallas Zoo

Grin and Bear It - benefits ill children at an area hospital

Starlight/Starbright - benefits critically ill children with laptops at hospitals

Caps for Cancer - collecting hats for kids with  cancer

Art for Kids - senior high students donate art to local organizations to auction at area galas to help area abused and critically ill children

YOUTH TOGETHER'S MISSION IS CHILDREN HELPING CHILDREN

 See the difference made by youth philanthrophy.

We have collected the following besides the $100,000 we have given area organizations to help children:

*400 backpacks filled with school supplies for abused children

*200 games and movies for ill children at area hospitals

*granted dream wishes to eight critically ill children

*collected Halloween  costumes, Christmas stockings along with gift cards and Easter baskets for 500 children at homeless shelters through the past five years

*collected books for senior centers

*sponsored 6,000 homeless animals at area shelters

*donated gifts to a medical center for children without medical insurance

*helped fund Raised by Wolves, Inc. Research Center in New Mexico

*gave out 7 grants this year to children to help them develop their community service projects

*taught over  50,000 children about the value of helping their communities
