Teacher Comments

We did a Kids Pals change drive.  One of the kids in the picture donated
$100 of his own money.  When we asked him if he really wanted to give
away his money,  his response was they need the money more than I do and
I really want to help them.

We also have another student that donated money his family has been
saving up for the past year to help others and he chose to give all of
it to our stockings for pen pals. A savings box is called Tzedaka  which means "good deed"  in
Hebrew. I think they did theirs for this year. 

The students were very excited to get to the $500 mark through their change drive in the fifth grade.

We definitely want to do Operation Paws again!  I think if we didn't
provide this service for our kids, they would revolt!!!!!!!!!  They
absolutely love this project and really have a desire to help animals.
