My Story

When I was in fourth grade in Austin, I was physically abused by my teacher.  One day, she became angry with me because I was playing with sticks, when it wasn't playing with sticks time.  She picked me up and threw me into a chair hurting my neck.

Although I healed physically, it took a long time for me to heal mentally.  I decided that in order to help myself, I needed to help others.  I decided to start Operation Backpack that helps abused children by collecting backpack and school supplies.  I have finally moved on and Operation Backpack has become a success.  By adding other programs, Youth Together was formed
